4 months where did the time go?

Hey all! wanted to drop by to see just how much dust and cobwebs had gathered here on the ol blog. Boy was I surprised.
During the summer life kinda changed for me(personal stuff) and then it became fall and the start of winter and well I haven't been all inspired to share so as you may know the blog(if anyone is reading this), Facebook, and instagram went silent on my end. I'm sorry for that but life isn't all rainbows and unicorn or even a unicorn fart, you or at least I keep a bit more to myself I'm not a sharer sharer of all things in my life it's just not me.

Why not still share your work?you might be asking. Well, I just didn't feel like it. Could it hurt my designer position in the scrapping world? Honesty..Yes, probably and  if it does it will be ok. I actually thought about dropping out of this industry it was tossed around a few times. For now I am sticking around.

A few weeks ago while chatting with a friend she told me that I need to share, I need to seek out, make an effort. Right now I will just say uh huh and still be the same ol Mandy.

I'll share my work here and there and make an effort to update the dust here and there more-instagram and the blog.  so for now here a few things from the past months.

Happy National Scrapbook Day!

Hey Y'all, Happy National Scrapbook Day to all my fellow scrappers out there! I hope you all have some creative time today. Today the Jillibean Soup Girls are blogging their favorite JBS project and having an informal blog hop. You can find the links to all the participants on the Bean Talk Blog. Believe me you do want to check the Bean Talk Blog out because not only will you have a chance to win a some fabulous goodies there, all of the girls have a Jillibean Soup Giveaway!

So let's get to it…what's my favorite Jillibean project? Well I haven't been designing with Jillibean for long so I don't have many just Jillibean projects but of the few I have created I'm pretty sure this layout is among my favorites plus there is one I will share a sneak of that will be on the blog this May.

I love this layout because it's simple and was so quick to create. It's a "Mandy Style" layout with the frames, layers, and stickers. I LOVE the Jillibean Soup Stickers! I've been known to profess my love for them over thickers many times. Now they come in 2 sizes plus the new Bean Board Alphas are the same font, and colors oh the colors, Fabulous I tell ya just Fabulous!  I'm a nerd but seriously still pinching myself because I can't believe I'm designing for this AWESOME company with the besets products.

Here is a sneak of what's coming to the Jillibean Soup Blog this May that I'm lovin.

Now for the part I'm sure you are all waiting for the GIVEAWAY. One lucky winner will receive a mystery box of Jillibean goodies. This Mystery Box will come straight from the Jillibean Soup headquarters so even I have know clue what's in the box but I'm sure whatever Jill sends you will put a big ol smile on your face!

To enter the Jillibean Mystery Box giveaway simply leave a comment on this blog post by 11:59 p.m. on Monday May 5th telling me what your favorite Jillibean Soup product is. A winner will be randomly chosen and announced on the Jillibean Soup Blog next week. Good Luck!
