4 months where did the time go?

Hey all! wanted to drop by to see just how much dust and cobwebs had gathered here on the ol blog. Boy was I surprised.
During the summer life kinda changed for me(personal stuff) and then it became fall and the start of winter and well I haven't been all inspired to share so as you may know the blog(if anyone is reading this), Facebook, and instagram went silent on my end. I'm sorry for that but life isn't all rainbows and unicorn or even a unicorn fart, you or at least I keep a bit more to myself I'm not a sharer sharer of all things in my life it's just not me.

Why not still share your work?you might be asking. Well, I just didn't feel like it. Could it hurt my designer position in the scrapping world? Honesty..Yes, probably and  if it does it will be ok. I actually thought about dropping out of this industry it was tossed around a few times. For now I am sticking around.

A few weeks ago while chatting with a friend she told me that I need to share, I need to seek out, make an effort. Right now I will just say uh huh and still be the same ol Mandy.

 I'll share my work here and there and make an effort to update the dust here and there more-instagram and the blog.  so for now here a few things from the past months.

Therm O Web Tuesday

Today I have a couple project created with Therm O Web and Fancy Pants to share with y'all
Our team did a crossover promo with the Fancy Pants team and I was able to work with the "Be Different" Collection it's so CUTE! Loved working with it. Here are 3 cards I created. I have lots leftover that I planned to created a layout or 2 this week but somehow time ran out and they didn't come together maybe next week. any who here are the cards.

Loved the bits and pieces from this kit but I really loved the papers especially this Webster's Pages but I really wasn't sure how to use it til I started creating this page and that's when it all fell into place.

Hello Summer

Hey everyone! Today I'm sharing my last 2 projects created for Evalicious. The last few months creating with Eve's products have been fun and I suggest when she has her new dt call in the fall y'all apply!!  

 

One thing I really loved about creating with the Evalicious products for the last few months was that  no matter how old or new the paper I was creating with her product still works, it's like that little black dress. On this layout I used old Sassafras Lass pattern paper.

I had a basic simple design in mind when I started creating this layout. I wanted to stick with just a few colors and I made a I searched through my Evalicious products I pulled all those colors that fell into the the scheme. I'm pretty happy with how it all turned out.

Speaking of projects today I am sharing a 12x12 layout I created for the hop. I used the June Hip Kit Club kit featuring Elle's Studio Shine collection. 

Hello There a cheeser layout about myself. Journaling is about how I perk myself up after doctor appointments by taking photo booth shoots in the car with the phone app. 

I think the veneer of the Elle's Studio Shine collection are so cute not only for summer but for other projects like how I've used them on this page. By tucking the lemon slice under a few layers it almost looks like a viewfinder or movie reel and fits my photo booth photos. 

I love the colors of both the Hip Kit June kits and the Shine collection. The colors and patterns on these papers totally fit the story I was trying to tell about how my moody changes from not so great to ok.
