Yes I know some you out there are wondering how the Dude is doing so I have come to post that he is doing ok he has his good days and bad days. His surgery last week was the longest 6.5 hours of my life i swear. He did good has someone else's bones in him and some metal too. He wasn't a big fan of the hospital which he showed me what he really thought of that it made me cry but I stayed strong. He also conned the Dr into releasing him early I mean seriously who could turn down the request of a non-verbal kid that says "Home" when he first sees you? Dr. knew he would do better in his own environment too.We are adjusting to all the change ok it's hard sometimes trying to carry him and casts up stairs or during those sleepless nights(thank you spasms)but we keep truckin along. I feel a little scatterbrained. We go back for his next procedure on Tuesday they will be taking out the stitches, checking the healing(if not going right the Dr will fix), and recasting. So there you have it a small update back to my post sitting next to the Dude I go. Thanks for all your support!
Hugs Mandy

Hope he recovers well, I don't know much about autism, but I do know about the pain of watching someone you love suffer (http://normaltoeatpb.blogspot.com/2011/01/o-brother-where-art-thou.html)
