American Crafts Blog Hop

Hey, Howdy, Hello!! If you've been hopping along the American Crafts Blog Hop and you've come here from Lilith Eeckles blog then you're in the right spot if you just happened upon my blog or you're a follower be sure to start at the American Crafts Blog and hop along to all 20 Designers Blogs you'll have chances to win 2 entire collections and some of the designers favorite AC products. SO get hoppin!

The design team girls were given the challenge to create a layout using pieces from all the Summer releases. You might not think the themes of these lines would mix together but as you can see from all the creations on the blog hop they work great together. Just gotta think outside the box/theme a little and mix it up. Anywho here is my layout.

Photobucket

This layout features some photos I took at my Grandparents house a fw weeks ago. They are some of the simple & little things that brought joy that day: Teagan picking veggies, a toad on the sidewalk, and a single sunflower growing in the middle of a bean field. I love the mix of the little bits from each line and how the photos are still the focus even with using the 5 different AC lines.
I used the following American Crafts products: Amy Tangerine-Hanging Out(35560) Amy Tangerine-Rose Ave(35551),Amy Tangerine-Wishing Fabric stickers(42216),DayDreams-Smile sticker book(42227),DayDreams-Great Day(35602),DayDreams-Gleeful Day(35604),Garden Cafe-Sticker Book(42210),Garden Cafe-Clover Cantina(35537),NightFall-Autumn Cider(35519),Fellow Thickers(53172), Hollyday-Pere Noel(35483),Hollyday-Variety Buttons(85559)

And now for the giveaway because I know that's what all you hoppers are looking for. I'm giving away the DayDreams Friends Dimensional Stickers and Buttons. All you have to do to be entered in the giveaway is leave a comment on this post telling me what are some of the little things that bring you joy? You have until 11:59pm on Tuesday the 20th I'll post the winner on Wednesday morning.

Next on the Blog Hop is fabulous Melissa Mann!

When I was in college I use to play a game where I would say to a friend, "Small pleasures in life: name 3." It was so much fun seeing what people came up with when I didn't allow them the time to "think" about their answer. Today my 3 might be: the crispness in the air that tells me fall is less than a week away, the fact that my daughter will be 11 months old tomorrow, and that this Blog Hop has introduced me to some amazing scrappers!
