American Crafts & Scor-Pal Blog Hop

Another Hop you say??Yes why yes it is another Hop! That's 3 in a week. CRAZY! You still have time to enter The Stringery Hop below.

Onto todays Hop brought to you by American Crafts and Scor-Pal. If you've been hopping along you've arrived from Diane Zechman's blog and if you've just come to visit my blog be sure to go back to American Crafts Blog to start the hop and enter the giveaway!

I created this fun card using the new American Crafts Dear Lizzy Neapolitan line(LOVE IT!) and the Scor-pal(so cool!)Fresh Blooms Paper(35630)Neapolitan, Hazy Horizon Paper(35639) Neapolitan, Silver Lining Paper(35635)Neapolitan, First Date Paper(35632)Neapolitan, At First Sight Paper(35641) Neapolitan, Lucky Laugh Paper(35640)Neapolitan, 6x6 Paper Pad(35658)Neapolitan, Neapolitan sticker(42232)Remarks Books, Accent Phrase Stickers(42235)Neapolitan.

To make the flower petals I punch circles out with a circle punch then scored them with the Scor-Pal making a v(this would be a total pain in the butt with out the Scor-Pal)and folded them in an accordion fold. Really easy I should have taken photos while creating so you could see but I'm really bad about that because I'm a fly by the seat of my pants kinda gal when i create it just happens and not really planned out. Back to the card once I had all the circles scored and folded I adhered to another circle and started layering the"petals" til I had the full flower head repeated this with the pinked circle small flower. Add a circle for the flower center to cover up the over lapping "petals" and done. I rolled and pleated the ribbon stems and adhered the flowers to the card. Really fun and created in less than 45 minutes.

Ok now that you have read about how I created the card, you saw the pictures are you ready to hop on? Well hold your horses leave a comment here on this post telling me what you'd create with the Scor-Pal or what your new favorite American Crafts product is your favorite and I will pick a winner Friday March 23rd to send some American Crafts goodies to. Sound good?

Did you leave a comment? Have you been inspired? Well now it's time to Hop on! Your next stop is the super duper fabulous Melissa Mann! Have fun! ~MK

PS. Don't forget to stop back Monday to see if you're the winner.
