this one time... October Afternoon Travel Girl Blog Hop ****WINNER****

And the winner of the Blog Hop Giveaway is......

Congrats Kelly!!  Look for an email for your info soon!!

Welcome to MK's stop on the October Afternoon Travel Girl Blog hop! Today we are celebrating this awesome new October Afternoon Collection! If you've been hopping along you've come from the super fabulous Jill's Blog and I'll be your last stop, if you're a lost traveler start HERE at the October Afternoon Blog where you will find the list of designers blogs to visit.
"She’s young, adventurous, and ready to see the world.  She’s also the inspiration for October Afternoon’s newest collection – Travel Girl!  This collection, featuring the lighthearted designs and subtle splashes of color October Afternoon is known for, is your passport to creativity and lasting memories.
Take a train, take a plane, a ship or maybe just your car; take a getaway across the globe and see the sights both near and far.  Visit London, Paris, Venice or Rome; or escape to someplace closer to home!  See as much as you can possibly see, and then a Travel Girl you will be.
Pack a bag, take a camera for sure, plus everything else you need to be a world traveler.  Whether it’s a journey to far away lands, or simply a drive around the bend, the Travel Girl collection is your ticket to fun that never ends." - from the October Afternoon Blog
I love working with this new Travel Girl line(I LOVE travel lines)! The colors, patterns, and embellishments are some of my favorites! I'm pretty sure this will be a favorite for a long time! Guess what it coordinates with previous lines too. I think that's one thing I really love about OA their lines whether old or new seem to work so well together. Ok enough rambling it's time to share the layout I created for the Hop.

My friend Denise and I are planning a trip to Europe in 2014 so of course it was a no brainer to do a layout about it. My printers both ran out of ink so at the last minute I though hmm just use that bad print photo and some vellum voila!. I think it turned out pretty cool.

Now to the part I'm sure y'all are gonna get excited about....There's a Giveaway!! Leave a comment on this post by Tuesday June 18th at 9pm EST telling me where you would love to travel and you will be entered to win the new See The World Rubber Stamp
After you have left a comment here, be sure to hop to the October Afternoon Blog to leave a comment to be entered to win some fab prizes! Remember you can always find the complete list of blog hop participants and blog links on the OA Blog.  Winners for the giveaways will be announced Wednesday June 19th.
Thanks for stopping by~MK

PS. Yes, this is the 500th post on the blog and I know last week I said I would make it an info and giveaway post but the hop came first so watch for a special 501st post with a giveaway. :)
